Inspiration to Reality Board

Inspiration Board Challenge #7

I'm kind of all giddy right now. One of my boards was actually chosen to be the inspiration for a real life photo shoot. I worked SUPER hard on this one so I am beyond happy. Now if only I was actually designing the shoot. That would be killer.

New Friends & Flavors

I'll be adding a couple new flavors to the repertoire. I'm pretty excited about these and I'll have some decadent photos on Monday. If I can keep myself from stuffing them in my face before I get the camera out, that is.

Romeo + Juliet

I was inspired by this home post on Design*Sponge to create a wedding board based upon the 1996 version of Romeo + Juliet. My friends and I were pretty much obsessed with this movie in our teens and there might even be photographic evidence of me kissing a movie poster with Leonardo on it. If I was having a Romeo + Juliet wedding I would just get a bunch of those grocery store candles for $1.99 each and maybe a few doves.

Lavender & Sand

Inspiration Board Challenge - Lavender & Sand

Jamie put the idea of lavender in my head and now I just can't get it out! And after seeing this wedding I think I have to have it.

Sweet Tart

This lemon-y blueberry cake looks divine. I love that oversized middle layer.

Our intro post is up today and we'll have more tips and ideas weekly for how to pull off a vintage-inspired event.

Thanksgiving Table

I had so many plans for our Thanksgiving decor. I was going to spray paint gourds and collect sticks from the park. Then the sickness came and everything fell to the wayside. At least I got to make the cheese flags. Thanks to Erin and her mercury glass for bringing some pretty into the house.
