California Wedding of Badassness by Feather Love
I ADORE this wedding. Jenny and Luc were just made to be shot by Noa (of Feather Love, duh). And this is a hardcore DIY wedding folks. And not the kind of DIY wedding where you kind of don't believe they aren't related to Martha Stewart. I mean don't get me wrong everything was insanely gorgeous but there weren't a million and one little details all over the place and, ya know what, it didn't even matter. They had 1) a cussing carousal and ferris wheel and 2) kick-ass guests who know how to rock a dance floor. And their ceremony...oh the ceremony!...why did I not think of using a line from my FAVORITE prince album!!! Oh man. Priceless. And a Kate Bush inspired frock for your interpretive first dance? Yes, please. Sign me up.
So go immerse yourself in the goodness and badassness (yes, I just made that word) of this wedding over at Feather Love and the rad DOUBLE feature on Once Wed!!!

Hot Wedding Traditions

{via Style Me Pretty}This is probably the raddest ceremony tradition ever. You get to sit in front of a bunch of fruit and gorgeous family heirlooms while your hot friends hold pretty lace over your head.

DIY Ribbon Chandelier on The Sweetest Occasion

Oh my! I have a guest post up on The Sweetest Occasion today! I made a ribbon chandelier for the wedding and it was a big hit! It was a super cheap and easy project. I'm a little embarrassed about my terrible photography skills and my dirty nails but head on over and take a look!

Baby Balloon Invitation
So I'm not a fan of balloons at adult parties but I have no problem with them being at 1st birthday parties. And this invitation is so flippin' adorable. I think I would even let it pass for a non-kiddie birthday. A baby shower would also be the perfect place for this little cutie.

In less than two months, our best friends in San Diego are getting married. I am so lucky that they let me totally crash their party and help with the design and planning. It is going to be a gorgeous wedding at the Marston House and Old Venice Restaurant. Not only that, two of my other dear friends - Noa of Feather Love and Jenna of flutter glass - will be capturing the events of the day! Jenna took the happy couple to Old Town a few weeks ago and really caught something special. I might be a little biased since they are all my friends but I just think these are the sweetest photos ever. No crazy pops or styling just sweet, simple love. I can't get over them!
